In Shkodër, at 5 a.m., Mark Çuni, a martyr of the Catholic Church, was shot. He was born in Rranxa, Bushat, in 1919. He finished primary school in his hometown. Then he studied at the Albanian Pontifical Seminary. He was arrested on December 7, 1945 and imprisoned in Shkodër. He was sentenced to death on February 22, 1946. (In the photo: Mark Çuni)
