In Shkodër, at 5 o’clock in the morning, Qerim Sadiku, martyr of the Catholic Church, was shot. He was born in Vuthaj, Shkodra. Married to Marije Vata in September 1944, the only son they had, whom they named Gaspër, was born 6 months after his arrest and Qerimi never saw him. He was arrested and imprisoned in Shkodër on December 3, 1945. He was sentenced to death on February 22, 1946. (In the photo: Qerim Sadiku)
