In Palermo, the first issue of “Arbri i ri” magazine, a monthly Albanian and Italian magazine directed by Francesco Stasi and Zef Skiroi, was published. Only three numbers followed. It published writings by Arbëresh authors, such as Zef Serembe, Françesko Krispi, etc., parts by Jul Variboba, from Gabriele Dara Junior work “Kënga e sprasme e Balës” (“Bala’s last song”), fairy tales by Kristina Xhentile Mandala, a study by Gustav Mayer about the Albanians, etc. (Three photos: Letter through which the founder of the magazine, Zef Skiroi, tells his friend about the efforts to publish the poem “Te dheu i huaj” (“In the foreign soil”) )
