Pëllumb Bylyku, a painter, graphic artist, and author of various posters with national themes, was born in Tirana. He graduated from the artistic high school “Jordan Misja” in Tirana in 1976 and later graduated from the High Institute of Arts in Tirana, majoring in monumental painting in 1986. Since 1986, the artist has regularly participated in various national and international exhibitions and activities both inside and outside Albania. In Bylyku’s creativity, one can sense a trend of contemporary painting, where the artistic conception is dominated by vibrant coloristic spots and light, which bestow monumentality and make his works distinct. He is a member of the groups “Pranvera” (“Spring”) and “Brezat në artet figurative” (“Generations in the Visual Arts”).
