In Kodër Qurk of Iballa, Pukë, Fran Mirakaj, martyr of the Catholic Church, was born. Married to Prenda Alija Kameri since October 1934. He was a farmer and merchant. He was arrested in Iballe and imprisoned in Shkodër on December 24th, 1945. He was sentenced to death on February 22th, 1946. He was shot in Shkodër in 1946. (In the photo: Fran Mirakaj)
