The first issue of the newspaper “Gazeta e re” (“The new paper”) (1928-1929), a daily political, social, literary, cultural, etc., was published. It closed after 296 issues. The newspaper aimed to mobilize intellectuals to help the royal government in the realization of its social, economic and administrative programs.
