Father Danjel Dajani, martyr of the Catholic Church, was born in Blinisht, Zadrima. He was born in Blinisht, Zadrima, in 1906. He studied at the Albanian Pontifical Seminary in Shkodra, while he studied philosophy and theology in Chieri, Italy. He was ordained a priest in Chieri on July 15, 1938. Teacher of Latin, Greek and Albanian, philosophy and mathematics. He was the director of the “Lajmëtari i Zemrës së Krishtit” (“The messenger of the heart of Christ”)magazine. He was arrested on December 31, 1945 and sentenced on February 22, 1946. He was shot in Shkodër, in 1946. (In the photo: Father Danjel Dajani)
