In Neveska (Florina district, Greece), Spiro Bellkameni, activist and fighter of the national liberation movement, was captured by the Ottoman authorities and killed. He was born in the Albanian village of Bellkamen near Florina, in 1885. From a young age, he was educated with the ideas of the Albanian National Renaissance and under the influence of Themistokli Gërmenji, he participated with a weapon in hand in the armed detachments, where he distinguished himself as a brave warrior. especially during the years 1911–1912.
