Lexo ngjarje:

The “Massacre of Ribar” occurred on April 18, 1999, when Serbian army and police forces, supported by local Serbs, carried out a brutal attack on Albanian civilians in the village of Ribar in the municipality of Lipjan. In the early morning hours, Serbian forces entered the village of Ribar i Vogël and, without provocation, massacred 25 Albanian residents aged between 7 and 90. The victims were forcibly removed from their homes and executed with automatic weapons, shot in the back. Among the deceased, 19 were local residents of Ribar i Vogël, while the remaining 6 were members of the Vuniqi family from the village of Vërshec, who had sought refuge in Ribar. Following the killings and the expulsion of the remaining residents, Serbian forces engaged in widespread looting, destruction, and burning of homes.
