Valbona Imami, actress, was born in Tirana. She graduated from the Academy of Arts, completing her studies as an actress in 1997. Since 2001, she has been a teacher at this Academy, and since 2002, she has been an actress at the National Theatre. She has performed in 17 theater roles and three film roles. Imami is a dramatic actress, known for her deep sensitivity, often capturing and delivering nearly natural portrayals of her characters’ neurotic moments. At times, she hides profound feelings of love and anxiety beneath an appearance of softness and feminine fragility, while at other times, she portrays serious psychological moments hidden behind a calm demeanor and deep-seated anger. Valbona Imami has participated in exchanges of professional experiences, as well as in theater meetings and festivals in countries such as Italy, Spain, Sweden, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Lebanon, Egypt, Germany, and others.
