He was involved in activities against Ahmet Zogu&#8217;s movement (1926&ndash;1931). He was one of the organizers of the Fier Uprising of 1935. For this, he was sentenced to death, then to life imprisonment. He was a member of the Albanian Communist Party since its foundation. He participated in the Peza Conference (1942). He was appointed commissar of Mati&#8217;s partisan detachment. He was a delegate to the 1st Conference of the country of the Albanian Communist Party (1943).
