He has exchanged letters with Albanian cultural activists, such as Naim Frash\u00ebri, Kostandin Kristoforidhi, Thimi Mitko, Jeronim de Rada, Dhimit\u00ebr Kamarda, etc. Among his works, we single out the books: <i>&#8220;Zur Albanischen Sprachenkunde&#8221;, &#8220;Ljpcif&#8221; <\/i>(&#8220;For the Albanian language&#8221;, 1981), <i>&#8220;Poispivky ku poznani naoeei albansych&#8221; <\/i>(&#8220;Contribution to the knowledge of Albanian dialects&#8221;, Prague, 1883), <i>&#8221; Albanesiche Marchen und Sch\u00ebanke&#8221; <\/i>(&#8220;Albanian tales and anecdotes&#8221;, 1890-1892).
