The first Albanian scientist who defended the thesis of the descent of Albanians from the pelasgians. He was born in Dardh\u00eb (Kor\u00e7a), in 1862. Since his youth, he studied the Pelasgians. He graduated from the University of Athens in classical philology. He devoted his whole life to the study of the Pelasgians, from where he published his work <i>&#8220;Albanians and the Pelasgian Problem&#8221;<\/i>, which became a well-known work. Spiro Konda had extensive encyclopedic knowledge, especially in linguistics and history.
