In the years 1869\u20131870 he studied at the college of Coriliano-Calabro, Italy. In 1871, he published <i>&#8220;The Grammar of the Albanian Language&#8221;<\/i> in Florence. This publication attracted the attention of foreign researchers and albanologists, such as Mikosic, Mejer, etc. Zef de Rada also published several poems, in which the motif of love prevails. He wrote several fairy tales in prose.
