Mother Teresa was born in Skopje, on August 26, 1910, in an Albanian Catholic family. In September 1928, driven by the desire to become a missionary \u00ad, Gonxhe said goodbye to her paternal home to enter the &#8220;Sisters of Loreto&#8221; Institute in Ireland. With her humanitarian services, Mother Teresa became the most admired woman in world opinion. Therefore, she was honored with many prizes and high rewards, starting from the &#8220;Padmashri&#8221;, which was awarded by the President of India (1962) to the &#8220;Nobel Peace&#8221; prize from the Parliament of Norway (1979). On September 4, 2016, Pope Francis signed the decree of canonization of Mother Teresa, event organized in St. Peter&#8217;s Basilica, Vatican.
