He was born in Kthella of Mirdita. He was ordained a priest on April 26, 1932. After the ordination, he was appointed vicar of Shna Prende in Kurbin, then of Saint Lucia Cathedral in Durr\u00ebs, then Chancellor of the Archbishop and secretary of Monsignor Vin\u00e7enc Prennushi. He was arrested in Durr\u00ebs, on May 18, 1947, one day before Monsignor Vin\u00e7enc Prennushi (19.05.1947) and was imprisoned there.
