He was born in Shkod\u00ebr. Studied philosophy in Schwaz and theology in Caldaro, Italy and Graz, Austria. He was ordained a priest in Shkod\u00ebr on March 25, 1904. He was a parish priest in Tuz, Kastrat, and Trabohin, Guardian of Gjuhadol, Provincial Vicar, parish priest in La\u00e7, Iball\u00eb, Gomsiqe, and B\u00ebrdic\u00eb and then Provincial Vicar. From 1941 to 1943, he worked in Tirana.
