He was born in Shkod\u00ebr. He was ordained a priest on June 28, 1908. He was parish priest of Durr\u00ebs three times, then in Derven of Fush\u00eb-Kruja, Kurbin, and Perlat of Kthella (Mirdit\u00eb). He was ordained a bishop on October 28, 1930, for the Abbey of Saint Llezhdri of Orosh in Mirdita. On January 4, 1946, he was transferred to the seat of Lezha, residing in Kallmet, continuing to be the Apostolic Administrator of the Abbey (monastery) of Orosh.
