It was voted to create the Government of National Reconciliation, which would lead the country’s executive until July 24, 1997. The Government of National Reconciliation was created in a very difficult social, political, economic, financial and social situation. This government worked in several main directions: stabilizing public order and establishing tranquility, stabilizing the economic situation and ensuring the supply to the population, controlling the financial situation, and preparing for the development of free elections. The Government of National Reconciliation consisted of: Belul \u00c7elo as Minister of the Interior, Shaqir Vukaj as Minister of Defense, Arjan Starova as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arben Malaj as Minister of Finance, Spartak Ngjela as Minister of Justice, Eduard Ypi as Minister of Privatization, Astrit Kalenja as Minister of Health and Environment, Myqerem Tafaj as Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Luan Skuqi as Minister of Education and Sports, Haxhi Aliko as Minister of Agriculture and Food, Kastriot Shtylla as Minister of Mineral and Energy Resources, Foto Lluka as Minister of Industry, Transport and Trade, Engj\u00ebll Ndocaj as Minister of Culture, Youth and Women, Elmaz Sherifi as Minister of Labor and Social Affairs and Vasillaq Spaho as Minister of Public Works, Territorial Regulation and Tourism.
