In the gymnasium of Shkodra, he connected with communist elements. Member of the communist group of Shkodra. He participated in various communist, anti-Zogist and anti-fascist activities. Member of the Albanian Communist Party immediately after its formation. Partisan in the first detachment of Shkodra (1943), in the battalion &#8220;Perlat Rexhepi&#8221; and &#8220;Bajram Curri&#8221; (1943). Helped organize the war against the invaders in the Highlands of Shkodra and Tropoja.
