He studied in Shkod\u00ebr and then in Vienna, Graz and Lankowitz in Austria. He studied theology in Shkod\u00ebr and Genoa. He was ordained a priest in Genoa on July 24, 1921. He taught at the Seminary of the Minor Friars of Shkodra. He was a parish priest in P\u00ebrshkash (1923\u20131924), Nikaj (1927\u20131931), Toplan (1932\u20131942), Theth (1942\u20131943), Hot and Rapsh\u00eb (1943\u20131946), Gomsiqe (1946\u20131947). He was arrested in Gomsiqe and imprisoned in Shkod\u00ebr on May 24, 1948. On August 22, 1949, he was imprisoned for three years.
