He was born in Samrish, in the Daj\u00e7 area of Bregu i Bun\u00ebs. At the height of the communist regime, he prepared for the priesthood privately under Archbishop Ernest \u00c7oba, who ordained him on December 8, 1961, along with Dom Mikel Beltoja. He was arrested and imprisoned in Shkodra on November 27, 1968. His trial took place in Daj\u00e7, where he was sentenced to death on March 20, 1969.
