He completed his higher religious studies and served as a priest firstly in his hometown and then in the Arb\u00ebresh church in Palermo. He adapted and paraphrased religious songs, he also wrote some original poems, among them some with secular motifs. Nikoll\u00eb Brankati&#8217;s poems, remaining in manuscript, were published by Arb\u00ebresh researchers during the 19th and 20th centuries.
