He studied philosophy at the Albanian Pontifical Seminary in Shkodra, while he studied theology at the College of Rome. He was ordained a priest in Rome on March 23, 1940. After returning to Albania, he served in the parishes of the mountains around Shkodra: Re\u00e7, Lohe (Shkrel) and Rrjoll. Gave great help to the diocesan magazine &#8220;Kumbona e e \u0110el\u00eb&#8221;. He was arrested in Rrjoll and imprisoned in Koplik, on July 27, 1948.
