He completed his first lessons in his hometown and then continued them in Skopje. He continued his religious education at the Diocesan Seminary in Prizren, while his theological studies at the Pontifical Institute in Shkod\u00ebr and completed them at the Faculty of Theology in Zagreb. He was ordained a priest in 1950, in Zagreb, while he held his first Mass in the Cathedral of Christ in Skopje. He served as a chaplain and was then appointed parish priest in Guci, then in Novosel\u00eb, then continued in Velez\u00eb and Prizren. For the needs of the Catholic clergy in the Albanian parishes, he has prepared various texts and prayer books. In 1962, he started publishing the religious and cultural magazine &#8220;Zani i Zoj\u00ebs Cernagore&#8221;, while in 1970 he published the first issue of the monthly magazine &#8220;Drita&#8221;. He also published the collection of church songs &#8220;Kantuali kishtar shqiptar&#8221; (1974).
