He was born in Lashova, Erseka, in 1931. At a very young age, he started working as an apprentice in Kor\u00e7\u00eb. The occupation of Albania deeply angered him, so he quickly joined the National Liberation War. He began writing in 1957, making a name for himself in literary circles. In 1960, he was a member of the leadership of the League of Writers and Artists of Albania and was friends with all the writers of his time. Until 1976, he published six books. His book titled &#8220;P\u00ebrmes Luft\u00ebs \u00c7lirimtare\u201d (<i>Through the Liberation War<\/i>) (1970) was removed from circulation in 1975. Thanks to his contribution to the liberation war, he did not suffer the fate of his comrades who ended up in the prisons of the communist regime, but he was not allowed to publish any books. From September 1997 to January 2000, he published twelve more books.
