Sofia Zengo Papadhimitri, the Albanian iconographer, and painter, passed away. She was born in Dardh\u00eb in Kor\u00e7\u00eb, in 1915. She first learned to paint with her father and sisters near the churches in the Kor\u00e7\u00eb area. She completed her higher studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Athens, guided in his journey by the most famous painters of the time, such as Spiro Vikatos and Umberto Argjiros. In 1941, she returned to her homeland, where she asked the government of that time to work as a drawing teacher at the Female School of Kor\u00e7a. Together with her sister, the equally well-known iconographer and painter, Androiniq, they opened a joint painting exhibition in Tirana. In 1945\u20131947, Sofia Papadhimitri returns with new exhibitions for lovers of fine arts.
