He was born in Vajza in Vlora, in 1919. He embraced communist ideas from Vlora&#8217;s high school and Tirana&#8217;s technical school. He worked as a surveyor in Vlora, then in Shkod\u00ebr, where he threw himself into revolutionary activity. With the formation of the Albanian Communist Party, he was accepted as a member. Member of the First Regional Committee of the Albanian Communist Party for Shkodra (1941), he helped establish and direct the Party&#8217;s technique. He participated in the actions and assassinations of guerrilla units in the city of Shkodra. At the beginning of June 1942, he was wounded in an attempt with the fascists.
