He completed the Artistic Lyceum &#8220;Jordan Misja&#8221; and graduated from the High Institute of Arts in Tirana in 1965. After exhibiting his painting &#8220;Kur yjet mbushin qiellin&#8221; (&#8220;When the Stars Fill the Sky&#8221;) in 1969, he did not exhibit again for 20 years. Naxhi Bakalli is the author of the mural &#8220;P\u00ebrballimi&#8221; (\u201cConfrontation\u201d) located at the &#8220;Gjergj Kastrioti Sk\u00ebnderbeu&#8221; National Museum in Kruj\u00eb (1982) and several other mural works in Burrel and Tirana. Since 1971, he has published his masterful drawings in the magazine &#8220;Shqip\u00ebria e Re&#8221; (\u201cNew Albania\u201d), covering various themes, characters, and events related to national history and culture.
