Bardhok Biba (1920-1949) was killed in the Valmir Pass in the Ka\u00e7inar area of Mirdita. He was a participant in the National Liberation War (AN\u00c7), a political activist, a state functionary in the early years after liberation, and was recognized as a Hero of the People. Born in 1920 in the village of Bulshar in Oroshi (Mirdit\u00eb), he attended the state high school in Shkod\u00ebr, where he embraced communist ideas and became active against the monarchist government of King Zog. Bardhok Biba became a member of the Albanian Communist Party in October 1943. He served as a partisan in the Puk\u00eb-Mirdita detachment in 1943 and later as a political commissar in the Buna partisan detachment, and subsequently in the Dukagjin and Puk\u00eb-Mirdita detachments in 1944. After the liberation, he was entrusted with significant responsibilities within the state and party in the district of Mirdita. His roles included serving as the commissar of the country command, the secretary of the National Liberation Council of the District (1945-1946), the chairman of the Executive Committee of the People’s Council of the District (1948), and the political secretary of the District Party Committee (1949). He was also a deputy in the People’s Assembly. Bardhok Biba was dedicated to the recovery and development of the country.
