Citizens from all four corners of the country, suffering and impoverished, defied security measures and their fears to board the cargo ship &#8220;Vlora,&#8221; which was anchored in the port of Durr\u00ebs. People climbed aboard using ropes, packing themselves into the overcrowded vessel and standing wherever they could find space. Their goal was clear: they sought freedom in Italy.
