He was born in Ka\u00e7anik, in 1972. He participated in many patriotic events that took place in Ka\u00e7anik during the 90s of the 20th century. In March 1998, he joined the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army in Ka\u00e7anik. On August 4th, 1998, he joined the unit consisting of 23 fighters, who were prepared to participate in the war against Serbian forces in the Nerodime Operational Zone, in Jezerc.
