He was born in the village of Banaj in Berat, in 1920. He joined the partisan ranks, first in the Youth Battalion (1944), then in the X Assault Brigade. After the liberation, he served in the People&#8217;s Army, in the People&#8217;s Defense Department (1946) and in the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (1949).
