In the village of Zheja in Kruje, Nuri Luçi, participant of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, Hero of the People, was killed in an attempt with an armed anti-government group. He was born in the village of Kuç in Vlora, in 1922. In 1942 he was accepted into the ranks of the Communist Youth and joined the partisan ranks, first in the “Hajredin Tremishti<\/em>” detachment and then in other units of the Albanian National Liberation Army, where he was assigned as a youth officer in the commissar company battalion. Member of the Albanian Communist Party in May 1943. He participated in many actions and battles. After liberation, he was attributed  <\/span>various state functions.
