The patriotic song <\/span>“Rreth flamurit të përbashkuar”<\/span> <\/span>(“Around the flag united”), with text written by Asdreni in 1912 in Bucharest, became the national anthem of Albania since the Declaration of Independence on November 28, 1912. Asdreni’s verse was sung to the music of the Romanian composer Ciprian Porumbesku (1853 -1883) from the choir of the Society of Albanians in Bucharest, from where Hilë Mosi brought it to Albania. The hymn was first learned by the choir of Korça, which also sang it in Vlora on the occasion of the Declaration of Independence. From that time it spread and became the National Anthem of Albania.
