Anastas Kondo, writer, screenwriter, was born in <\/span>Kuçovë<\/span> <\/span>. In 1961, he completed his higher studies at the University of Saint Petersburg, Faculty of Geology, Department of Paleontology. From the desks of high school, his passion for literature and the arts was evident. The work of the geological engineer with the many movements around the country and the acquaintance with different people inspired him to write reports and later stories that began to appear on the pages of the press, such as “<\/span>Zëri i Rinisë<\/span>” (“The voice of youth”), “Drita” (“The light”), etc. Later, novels would also be published that would attract the attention of readers and filmmakers. In the years 1973-1976 he was secretary for literature of the League of Writers and Artists and from 1976-1983, chairman of the Culture and Arts Committee. He passed away in 2006.
