He was born in Hajmel, Zadrima, in 1920. He was one of the clerics who refused to sign the Statute of the Catholic Church. In 1957, after several years of service in the parish of Koman, he was transferred to the parish of the village of Qel\u00ebz (Shkod\u00ebr).
