Andrea Bogdani worked for the education of the Albanian people. He compiled a grammar of Albanian in Latin-Albanian, wrote many texts for the needs of Albanian teaching, and engaged in collecting popular linguistic expressions. These works, as noted by his nephew, Pjet\u00ebr Bogdani, who inherited the archdiocesan seat along with its archives, &#8220;dissolved like salt in water&#8221; during the countless vicissitudes of life.
