Participant of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, Hero of the People. He was born in \u00c7atist\u00eb of Pogoni (Gjirokast\u00ebr), in 1920. He was born in a family of Greek nationality. He was one of the first fighters against the invaders and their collaborators. Member of the Albanian Communist Party in 1942, commander of the &#8220;Thanas Ziko&#8221; battalion since its formation (1943), later battalion commander in the VIII Assault Brigade (1944).
