Born in Kavaj\u00eb in 1921, he began his artistic career in 1943 as a violinist in the Radio Tirana orchestra. He completed his conducting studies at the Prague Conservatory (1950). His professional career as a conductor was closely linked to the establishment and activities of Albania&#8217;s main musical institutions, such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Albanian Philharmonic, the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, and Albanian Radio Television. During the 1950s and 1960s, he led the principal stage repertoire of the Opera and Ballet Theater and many of the country&#8217;s first symphonic concerts. He participated in significant international events of the time.<\/p>\n<p>As a co-founder of the conducting class at the Tirana State Conservatory, he engaged extensively in pedagogical activities. He also contributed to musical journalism, publishing dozens of articles, and actively assisted in establishing symphony orchestras in several major cities in Albania. He composed several songs, including one for Asim Zeneli, and orchestral and symphonic pieces.
