Ndrekë<\/span> Luca, theater and cinematographer, People’s Artist, was born in Dukagjin. In 1950, he started working as an actor in the People’s Theater with the role of Shpend <\/span>Gjeto<\/span> Plaku in the drama “Halili <\/span>dhe<\/span> Hajrija”<\/span> (“Halili e <\/span>Hajrirja<\/span>”)<\/span> by Kol<\/span>ë<\/span> Jakov<\/span>a<\/span>. He played a gallery of roles from works of Albanian and foreign literature. <\/span>Ndrekë<\/span> Luca has realized over 30 films in cinematography, which stand out for their unique character, such as: Dom Marku <\/span>in <\/span>“<\/span><\/span>Komisari i dritës<\/span><\/span>“<\/span> (“<\/span><\/span>Commissioner of Light<\/span><\/span>”)<\/span>, <\/span>Ndrioja<\/span> in <\/span>“<\/span><\/span>Udha e shkronjave<\/span><\/span>“<\/span> (“<\/span><\/span>The path of <\/span>letters<\/span><\/span>”)<\/span>, Gjini <\/span>in <\/span>“<\/span><\/span>Plagë të vjetra<\/span><\/span>“<\/span> (“<\/span><\/span>Old wounds<\/span><\/span>”)<\/span>,<\/span> Pjetër <\/span>Mustaqekuqi<\/span> in <\/span>“<\/span><\/span>Operacioni ‘Zjarri<\/span><\/span>“<\/span> (“<\/span><\/span>Operation Fire<\/span><\/span>”)<\/span>, <\/span>Ramiu<\/span> in<\/span> “<\/span>Dueli<\/span> i<\/span> heshtur<\/span>“<\/span> (“<\/span><\/span>The silent duel<\/span><\/span>”) <\/span> etc. <\/span>Ndrekë<\/span> Luca was an actor with a wide range of interpretation, who knew how to adapt to different plans, both comic and tragic, both heroic and ordinary; <\/span>possessed<\/span> highly expressive mimicry, accurately used figurative gesture, <\/span>plastic,<\/span> and other means of visual identification of the character.
