During the second offensive of the Serbian forces against <\/span>Jabllanica<\/span> (Kosovo), Driton Zeneli, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a martyr, was killed. He was born in <\/span>Gjakovë<\/span>, in 1972. He completed high school for aviation in <\/span>Rajlovc<\/span>, near Sarajevo, where he graduated as an aviation technician. Served at the military airfield at <\/span>Gollubovc<\/span>, near Podgorica, in Montenegro. He managed to leave the Yugoslav army in 1993, when he returned to <\/span>Gjakova<\/span>, where he graduated from the Higher Pedagogical School. He worked as a teacher in the villages of <\/span>Doblibare<\/span> and Dol in <\/span>Gjakova<\/span> until March 1998, when he joined the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army. For several months, he worked in <\/span>Gllogjan<\/span>, as an officer in the Operational Headquarters of the Dukagjin Plain. He was entrusted with the task of instructor for training new recruits. He was then appointed commander at the <\/span>Jabllanica<\/span> Headquarters. <\/span>Took<\/span> part in many battles. In August 1998, he was appointed commander of Brigade 132 “<\/span>Myrtë<\/span> Zeneli”. The units commanded by him <\/span>operated<\/span> in many villages of <\/span>Dushkaja<\/span>, <\/span>Lugu<\/span>t<\/span> of <\/span>Baran and up to <\/span>Sukë<\/span> of<\/span> C<\/span>ë<\/span>rmjan<\/span>.
