Dom Mark Hasi, a Catholic priest, died in the prison of <\/span>Ballshi<\/span>. He was born in Shkodër, in 1919. He graduated in theology in Padua, Italy. Arrested in 1946 and sentenced to 7 years in prison. After his release, in 1954, he served in the parish of Shkodra. On April 8, <\/span>1967,<\/span> he was arrested again. He was subjected to a public unmasking trial, along with other clerics, at the Pedagogical Institute in Shkodër. The court sentenced him to death, but the sentence was returned to 25 years in prison.
