Mine Peza (1875–1942), participant of the anti-fascist movement, the first woman martyr of the Anti-fascist National Liberation War in Tirana, the <\/span>Heroine<\/span> of the People, was seriously injured and died. <\/span>Sh<\/span>e <\/span>participated<\/span> in the first demonstration organized in front of the prison doors of Tirana, on September 17, 1942, to oppose the deportation of Albanian anti-fascist prisoners to Italy. <\/span>Sh<\/span>e was seriously injured and died the same day. <\/span><\/span>(In the photo: Mine Peza)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
