Besa <\/span>Imami<\/span>, theater <\/span>actress<\/span>, <\/span><\/span>Merited Artist, passed <\/span>away.<\/span><\/span> Sh<\/span>e was born in <\/span>Gjakovë<\/span> in 1928. In 1946 <\/span>s<\/span>he joined the troupe of the People’s Theater, where <\/span>s<\/span>he completed the 2-year qualification course for actors. Initially, she played lyrical and romantic characters (Donika <\/span>Kastrioti<\/span> in the film “Skënderbeu”<\/span> (“Skanderbeg”)<\/span>, 1953), later she became more suitable to play characters <\/span>mainly of<\/span> a dramatic nature. During her career, she performed more than 80 roles, including: <\/span>Genevra<\/span> in “<\/span>Deep are the roots<\/span>” (James Gow and Duso, 1949); Gan<\/span>n<\/span>a <\/span>L<\/span>ikh<\/span>ta<\/span> in “Conspiracy of the <\/span>doomed<\/span>” (Nikollaj Virta, 1950), <\/span>O<\/span>x<\/span>an<\/span>n<\/span>a<\/span> in “<\/span>Sinking of the squad<\/span>” (<\/span>Kornei\u010duk<\/span>, 1959); Ermira from “Mbi <\/span>gërmadha<\/span>“<\/span> (“On the ruins”)<\/span> (Fadil <\/span>Paçrami<\/span>, 1964), <\/span>Gonerilla<\/span> from “King Lear” (Shakespeare, 1964), <\/span>Lokja<\/span> from “Cuca e <\/span>maleve<\/span>” <\/span>(“The girl of the mountains”) <\/span>(Loni Papa, 1967), Laja from<\/span> “<\/span>Lulet<\/span> e <\/span>shegës<\/span>”<\/span> (<\/span>“Pomegranate Flowers”<\/span>)<\/span> (Kolë Jakova, 1974) etc. He passed away in 2014. <\/span><\/span>(In the photo: Besa <\/span>Imami<\/span>)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
