In the village of <\/span>Nishovë<\/span> in Skrapar, Lefter <\/span>Koxhaj<\/span> was born, a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a martyr. He was born in the village of <\/span>Nishovë<\/span> in Skrapar, in 1969. He worked in construction, then emigrated to Greece. When the war started in the <\/span>Presheva<\/span> Valley, he decided to go to that war. But in <\/span>Gjilan<\/span> he <\/span>was<\/span> joined by a group of fighters who were preparing for war in Macedonia. Together with another group of Albanians, they formed the combat unit based in the village of <\/span>Slubçan<\/span>, being then included in the ranks of the National Liberation Army. The unit commanded by Lefter <\/span>Koxhaj<\/span> fought in <\/span>Mateq<\/span>, in the entire area of <\/span>Karadak<\/span>, as well as in Hara<\/span><\/span>ç<\/span><\/span>ina<\/span>. On the night of August 6, 2001, he left with his group for an action in the city of Skopje, but on August 7 he was killed by the Macedonian police. <\/span><\/span>(In the photo: Lefter <\/span>Koxhaj<\/span>)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
