Marie Logoreci, <\/span>actress<\/span>, People’s Artist, was born in Shkodër. She was born in Shkodër in 1920. In 1947 she was accepted as a professional <\/span>actress<\/span> at the People’s Theatre. She became known with the interpretation of the role of Loke in the drama “<\/span><\/span>Toka jonë<\/span><\/span>“<\/span> (“Our land”)<\/span> (1954) by Kol<\/span><\/span>ë<\/span><\/span> Jakov<\/span>a<\/span>, which she later played in the film with the same title. Marie Logoreci embodied many figures from Albanian and foreign dramaturgy, but she stood out especially in the roles: Bernarda Alba in the drama “<\/span>The House of <\/span>Bernarda Alba” (<\/span>Federiko<\/span> Garcia <\/span>Lorka<\/span>), Gertrude in “Hamlet” (Shakespeare), mother in the drama “Cuca e <\/span>maleve<\/span>“<\/span> (“The girl of the mountains”) <\/span>(Loni Papa) and <\/span>Gjela<\/span> in the drama “<\/span><\/span>Përmbytja e madhe<\/span><\/span>” (“The great flood”) <\/span>(Kolë Jakova). He also played in the first Albanian short film “<\/span><\/span>Fëmijët e saj<\/span><\/span>“<\/span> (“Her children”)<\/span> (1957). Marie Logoreci has brought to the stage figures of women and mothers who are suffering, but proud and stoic; her acting is often characterized as tragic. <\/span>Sh<\/span>e passed away in Tirana, in 1988. <\/span><\/span>(In the photo: Marie Logoreci)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
