Mustafa Shyti, activist, fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army, martyr, was killed on the war front. He was born in the village of <\/span>Oshlan<\/span> in <\/span>Vushtrri<\/span>, in 1945. He studied Albanian language and literature at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Pristina. He was a participant in the demonstrations of 1981 and 1988\/89. He worked as a teacher in <\/span>Oshlan<\/span> (municipality of <\/span>Vushtrri<\/span>) from 1972. Due to his political views, he was persecuted by the state bodies of the time. In 1998, he joined the Kosovo Liberation Army in the Shala Operational Zone. Actively <\/span>participated<\/span> in the mobilization of volunteers. In 1998, he published the collection of poems “<\/span>Da<\/span>l<\/span>lgë<\/span> jete”<\/span> (“Life waves”)<\/span>, while after his death the work “<\/span><\/span>Pranverë gjaku<\/span><\/span>“<\/span> (“<\/span>Blood spring<\/span>”)<\/span> was published (2001). For his patriotic activity, the institutions of Kosovo awarded him <\/span>numerous<\/span> recognitions and decorations. <\/span><\/span>(In the photo: Mustafa Shyti)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
