The III Congress of Bektashi gathered in <\/span>Korça<\/span>. This congress decided the final organization of the <\/span>Bektashian<\/span> Tariqat<\/span> in Albania and <\/span>established<\/span> the National Headquarters in Albania with the <\/span>Headfather<\/span> Sali <\/span>Njazi<\/span> Dede<\/span>. In the new Statute approved at the congress, the <\/span>Bektashian<\/span> Community was sanctioned as a legal entity; the Albanian language as the official religious language; the creation of <\/span>quarters<\/span> (a total of six <\/span>quarters<\/span> were approved as territorial units: the <\/span>Quarters<\/span> of Kruja, Elbasan, <\/span>Frashër<\/span>, <\/span>Korça<\/span>, <\/span>Pri<\/span>sh<\/span>të<\/span> and <\/span>Gjirokastra<\/span>, centered on the respective tekke); the religious hierarchy, which consisted of the <\/span>headfather<\/span>, parents, dervishes and religious officials; The council that drew up the budget and controlled the administrative and financial side of the community; the leaders of the <\/span>Tariqat<\/span> had to be Albanian citizens from the <\/span>tribe of the language. In 1930, the Ministry of Justice approved the Bektashi Statute, giving it legal force. In March 1930, Ahmet Zog announced the appointment of His Grace Sali <\/span>Njazi<\/span> Dede as <\/span>Headfather<\/span> of the Albanian Bektashi. The center of the World Bektashi <\/span>Headquarters<\/span> was in<\/span> Teqe<\/span> of Turan and at the end of 1930, it <\/span>was located in<\/span> Teqe<\/span> of <\/span>Melçan<\/span>. In May 1937, by decision of the Holy <\/span>Ancestral <\/span>Council, it was transferred to the new building in Tirana, where it is still today. <\/span><\/span>(In the photo: Delegates of the III Bektashi Congress.)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
