In Worcester (USA), the first issue of the newspaper “<\/span>Sazani<\/span>” (1917-1918), a biweekly political and social newspaper, was published. It was published in Albanian and English. 8 issues continued intermittently, until March 26, 1918. “<\/span>Sazani<\/span>” newspaper propagated the unification of the patriotic forces of the Albanian colonies of America in the “<\/span>Vatra<\/span>“<\/span> (“Hearth”)<\/span> federation and keeping national feelings alive. The newspaper from time to time also reflected the activities of other Albanian colonies in the United States of America. <\/span><\/span>(In the photo: Front page of “<\/span>Sazani<\/span>” newspaper.)<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
